Mexican
Folklórico Dance Classes
Beginning
students develop coordination, balance and weight shifting while
learning body awareness. Intermediate and Advanced students
build strength, stamina, balance, posture, grace and discipline. All
students are introduced to different regions, costuming and music in
traditional Mexican Folklorico dance; while more advanced students
learn more intricate choreographies and techniques.

Flamenco Dance Classes
Students learn basics of flamenco dance including rhythms, footwork,
and armwork. Intermediate level classes progress on to more challenging
technique and choreographies. Advanced students have the opportunity
to work with the Guadalupe Dance Company on special projects and performances
throughout the year.

Summer
Dance Camp is an all day intensive designed for experienced dancers
ages 9 – 18 with at least two
years of dance training. Dancers are challenged by the best of
dance instructors in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Mexican Folkloric and
Flamenco dance.
Encanto Flamenco Festival
August 4
- 9, 2009
The third annual Encanto Flamenco Festival will
include public performances, workshops and a panel discussion. Visiting
guest artists Omayra Amaya, grand-niece of the legendary Carmen Amaya
and Joaquin Enicnias of the National Conservatory of Flamenco Dance
in Albuquerque , NM . Daily drop-in rates, group early bird discounts
available
